What’s the tee hee of my day???

How about these apples:

Apparently the Heifer called over to find out if the Admin. Services group could print onto envelopes for her in colored ink. After a brief discussion amongst themselves they said “no” because the machine they use heats up quite a bit and they’re afraid that the heat would be so much that the glue on the envelopes would become sticky and seal them prematurely. They called Heifer back and explained this issue and suggested she use “Liz’s color printer” over in the executive area. Now, the 3 of us over here all have access this printer but it’s referred to as “mine” because it was my boss who decided we get it and I was the one under who’s supervision it was ordered and installed. I, incidentally, am also the one who knows how best to utilize this machine and I’m also the only one who knows how to do things like replace the toner. Granted, none of these things are rocket science, but to the other two over here it’s Greek and I seem to be the only one who understands this new fangled machine.

I guess she decided she didn’t need those envelopes to have colored ink on them after all. She has yet to come ASK me how to do this and she also hasn’t attempted to use the printer herself. HAH ! The little bird that told me this story said that she figured I wouldn’t be asked because the Heifer would rather DIE than ask ME how to do ANYTHING.
