Lazy Bitch
Yes !
That would be me this morning.
I was actually AWAKE for a change, like not groggy awake but really awake awake as of 6am.
So what do I do with this opportunity?
I lay in bed like a lazy bitch, pull the covers in around me and watch the rain falling on my deck through the slider in the bedroom.
When I finally decide I should get up I look over at the clock to realize it's already 6:30 and I think "SHIT ! That didn't FEEL like 1/2 an hour !" ... but when does it ever when it's a rainy morning and all you want to do is stay curled up in bed and watch the rain fall.
Yesterday was NOT a fun-filled day at the office and I'm expecting it to be no better today. The only thing that's good about today is the following:
1 - It's bagel day ... so I have an excuse for scurrying off to the break room the second I get into the door and I can stand around and b.s. with my friends while getting my bagel and o.j.
2 - It's Wednesday....only 2 days from Friday...and that makes the day a little easier to bear.
The scary thing about today?
It's already December 1st !
Can you believe it?!?!?!??
Before we know it New Year's will be here and we get to start rambling through another year.
Oh, and incidentially, we finally got the memo yesterday that New Year's Eve IS going to be an office holiday. At least that'll make my life a little easier, right? Don't know that we actually HAVE a party to go to this year (as the hosts of the annual New Year's party hasn't mentioned it yet and has changed quite a bit in the past year) but then again, I'm sure we'll figure something out.

I should stop writing and get my lazy ass ready and out the door to start my Wednesday.
I can only hope it goes by quickly.
