Finally !
J and I finally talked wedding details and have it narrowed down to a 1st and 2nd choice in dates !
We went over the the save the dates and invitations have been narrowed them down as well !
We also worked on the invite list and started a list of sites we need to go visit.
Wow.
I really didn't expect it to go as easily as it did !
I also spoke with the seamstress last night about a dress and am awaiting a quote from her.
I guess we're really doing this, huh?

You are so lucky. Even though TG and I have only been together for little over a year or so, I'm pretty much ready to get married. He'll be 30 in January, I'll be 27 in 2 weeks, it seems like now is a good time.
We've had our fights, we know how to make up. We know how to enjoy each other's company when we aren't doing anything much. We share similiar goals, and both want our lives to go in a certain direction. We've even both agreed that we'd like to do those things together.
I think this is just my bio-clock ticking. I'm ready for a house and a dog and a man to call my own. Sigh...maybe next year.

I wish I could send a little message to TG via telepathy or something like that and plant the concept in his head for you ! Though, you never know, maybe it's already there and he's just biding his time.
I hear you about being ready to be married....I think when a lot of women hit 26/27 that sort of hits. (Unfortunately it hit for me when I was 21 after I found out my grandfather was dying - which led me to almost making the biggest mistake of my life). The SUPER good news for you is that it's been my observation that the majority of guys get the marriage bug when they're looking 30 in the face - so TG may REALLY be thinking of it without you even knowing it yet !

Sounds like y'all have a really great relationship and I wouldn't be surprised if he did something next year. Also keep in mind that a lot of guys tend to lean towards warmer weather months....so it may be a long winter for you if that's his plan. And the length of time y'all have been together is totally not even a factor. I know people who've dated for 8/9 months, knew they were with "the one" and have been married FOREVER. :)
Have the two of you talked about it at all? Heck ! Tell him about "this blog (you) read" (that being mine) and maybe that'll open the door of conversation?

BTW, TG's b-day is in January? Mind if I ask what day? I'm a January baby myself so I'm always curious as to "when" when I know someone else's b-day is in January.

I don't know about "exciting" just yet as I'm fretting over the financial aspect of it at the moment. I'm a "hyper planner" so I look at it from EVERY angle and have been collecting information since the day after we got engaged. Just about everything from invites to favors to my dress are nearly all set in my head - it's just a matter of getting J's input and either running with what I've got in my head or making changes based on his opinions. It'll get exciting once I know that the financial part is squared away. :)
And on a TOTALLY random note...
I haven't had a chance to e-mail you the "Kimber Theory" but will have to...tonight, after all, is yet another wonderful Nip/Tuck night ! ! ! ! WHOO HOO ! ! !
